Website Board of Chapter Advisors

If you are looking to get involved with the Chapter, being on the Board of Chapter Advisors may be just for you.

The main idea behind serving as a Chapter Advisor is to advise the undergraduate members on an array of issues, including finances, ritual, rushing, (etc).  This helps the undergraduates know what has been done in the past, know what the best practices are, and know that there is a group of people willing to support them when they have questions or issues.

While no individual Chapter Advisor is responsible for all the following, the general duties of the Board of Chapter Advisors shall be to promote the welfare of the Fraternity and the Chapter, including:

  1. By advising the chapter on all matters except those of chapter house financing;
  2. By advising with the chapter House Corporation on chapter house matters;
  3. By advising with the Section Chief and Purple Legionnaire on all matters pertaining to the operation of the chapter;
  4. By supervising the chapter to see that all of the provisions of the Constitution, Rituals, and the Laws of the Fraternity are being strictly observed;
  5. By assisting with the program and perfecting plans for the annual Norris Pig Dinner;
  6. By making an annual report to the Executive Director on the condition of the chapter each year between September 15 and December 15.
